Godspell Mage is a pure AOE kit that struggles to deal with single threats without wasting it's big moves. It's spells can also backfire if not used cautiously, as the user can also be hurt by them...

It's such a shame that some Item Asylum songs are so good, but you won't ever hear then in their entirety in-game. (I'm looking at you, A-Train)
