Light snow in Shimla cheers locals and tourists

Light snow fell in Shimla on Monday, bringing joy to locals and tourists.
Several parts of the state, especially the higher reaches, are likely to receive rain and snow over the next few hours, as per the forecast released by the weather department.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
