By the time this video gets posted, a couple of weeks has passed & I have moved Pardus to the T3500 workstation (BIOS only). There is a Mario game available in the Pardus software store. So, I couldn't just say 'next' without exploring the game a little better.

I must say that the last 2 weeks have been tough on my family. Pops sick, sis sick & myself. All sinus infections. The pollen is now unbelievable. We have had some very strange weather here on the gulf coast. From snow to Santa Anna type winds.

Any way, I apologize in advance for the less than glimmering review of Pardus Linux. It does seem to be solid/stable Debian based 'distro'.

I wanted to mention the 2 different installers included on the iso. First is the obvious Calamares type install and also the 'Debian' type installer. Both work flawlessly.

Here are what notes I do have, mostly gleaned from the Pardus web sites.

PARDUS is a Free and Open Source operating system based on Debian GNU/Linux

The Pardus operating system distribution was chosen from the scientific name of the Anatolian Pars, the “Assna Pardus Tulliana. ”

Panthera pardus tulliana, also called Persian leopard, Anatolian leopard, and Caucasian leopard in different parts of its range

The project moved to Debian base. Pardus 2011.2, released on September 19, 2011, was the last Pardus release that used PiSi. Uses apt (advanced package management) now.

Pardus Community Edition based on Debian released on April 12, 2013.
