Dynasty Warriors 3: XL - Xiahou Dun Musou Mode 1 | The Yellow Turban Rebellion

Our first Wei musou mode. Xiahou Dun starts at YTR, which means he's honestly a better pick to start with than Zhao Yun at Chang Ban. YTR is a pretty easy stage. It plays out slightly differently depending on which force you're playing as when you do the stage, or more specifically how you advance.

Zhang Jiao starts right below you for Wei officers. You can defeat him right from the get go, but he'll teleport away and you'll have to fight him again later. Then it's a matter of helping your allies. Zhang Bao is on a cliff you can only reach on foot, raining down boulders. Getting past the boulders triggers a cutscene with you character and defeating him stops them altogether.

Sun Jian will be left dealing with Zhang Liang, and by this time he's probably frozen the water to allow the Yellow Turbans to rush and attack He Jin, our commander. Sun Jian also tends to struggle here more than the others, pretty much just because you start pretty far from him. He Jin and the other generics in the center tend to get rekt by the Yellow Turbans as well, so be aware of that before letting them rampage in the center for too long.

After dealing with all that, you can cross the river and defeat Zhang Jiao to win the stage.
