In this segment of our series I explain how to build a French Drain to last a lifetime. If you build your French Drain correctly, using corrugated pipe and wrapping it in a non-woven geo textile fabric it will not only last a lifetime it should out live the homeowner.

You'll want to use a good contractor grade fabric and not the thin fabrics that some contractors suggest. We also cover how corrugated pipe increases the flow rating of your French Drain and removes any sediment that may get caught in the pipe.
