Preparation Checklist

Purchase an activate software.

Network Connection: Ensure both your Source PC (CF-53) and Target PC (CF-31) are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet—Ethernet is recommended for speed).

Software: Install EaseUS Todo PCtrans on both computers.

Firewall: Temporarily disable any aggressive antivirus or firewall software on both machines to prevent connection blockage.

➡️ Step 1: Connect the PCs
On the NEW PC (CF-31): Launch PCtrans. Select the PC to PC transfer mode.

Select Direction: Choose the option to Receive data (Target PC). The new PC will now wait for a connection.

On the OLD PC (CF-53): Launch PCtrans. Select the PC to PC transfer mode.

Find Target: The software should automatically detect your CF-31 on the network. Select the icon or name of the CF-31.

Authorize: Click Connect. If a verification code appears on the CF-31, enter it on the CF-53 to establish a secure link.

Load Items: Once connected, the CF-53 screen will display categories: Applications, User Accounts, and Files.

Select Applications: Click the Edit button next to Applications. Review the list of all installed programs (like your 100+ apps). Check the box next to only the applications you need to transfer. Note: Only select programs marked "Yes" or "Likely" for compatibility.

Select Files: Click the Edit button next to Files or User Accounts. Browse and check the specific folders and files you need (e.g., Documents, Pictures, Desktop files).

Destination Check: (Optional) Verify the destination path on the CF-31 is correct (usually the main C: drive).

➡️ Step 3: Start and Monitor the Transfer
Start Migration: Review your selections one last time, then click the main Transfer button.

Unattended Process: The transfer will begin. This process is unattended and will automatically handle the transfer and re-registration of all selected applications and files.

Safety Feature: If your network connection drops during the transfer, PCtrans is designed to resume automatically from the point of failure once the connection is restored.

Completion: Wait until the "Transferred Successfully" message appears on the screen.

Check Files: On the CF-31, open File Explorer to confirm your documents and files have landed in the correct folders.

Check Apps: Attempt to launch one or two of the major transferred applications (e.g., a browser, a word processor) to ensure they run correctly without needing re-installation or activation.
