Originating in the Bay Area, Huey Lewis & the News took America and the world by storm throughout the 1980’s with their soul and doo-wop influenced rock. In addition to Huey, the line up of Johnny Colla, Bill Gibson, Mario Cipollina, Sean Hopper and Chris Hayes recorded 6 albums between 1980 and 1991 that sold over 30 million records worldwide, included 19 top ten singles, garnered a Grammy award and received an Oscar nod for their #1 hit The Power of Love. We are thrilled to welcome our friends Kevin Schuer (vocals) and Ross Walters (sax and harp) into the Lab for our 20th episode and have picked 5 of our favorite songs that we know you will really enjoy.
