Interview with Maren Morris band member Matt Butler

You will hear the behind the scenes with one of the best in music yet one of the most humble people you could ever meet.  Matt Butler has played with some of the greatest in Country Music and Christian Music, but you would never know it.  This guy doesn't even have an instagram. You'll have to find more about him through his joint social media which his lovely wife, Ashlee Butler posts for them. @butlermattandashlee.

Currently, Matt is the newest member of the Maren Morris band, playing keyboards/B3 & Cello.  He has toured the country and even parts of the world on his new adventure in country music, but if you're a Christian you likely remember him from 10+ years as lead singer of the band, NewSong.  He toured a band director for the country's largest Christian tour called Winter Jam. Perhaps you'e heard of it?

God has not only gifted Matt musically, but as you will hear, given him a calling to be a light in mainstream music. As he put it, "I wake up everyday and say Lord, how can I serve these people today?"  It is rare to find someone like Matt who shares the stage with the rich and famous yet walks humbly before the Lord and others.
