If you're looking a great sounding, reliable pair of studio monitors, then you need to check out the Kali Audio IN-5s! These speakers are perfect for music and audio production and are a great addition to any home studio.
The Independent series is Kali Audio's second wave of monitors and a result of many years of research. The IN-5 is a three way speaker, meant to give you much more clarity and lower self noise overall than the 1st wave of Kali Audio Monitors. They have a max SPL level of 115db (a) which is perfect for any small to medium sized room. The IN-5s have a 12db reduction in self noise than the Kali Audio LP6s which makes them practically silent. In addition, they include placement charts on the back, making the setup process extremely easy. All you have to do is place your monitors in your room, look at the charts and change the EQ dip switches and it will give a very flat and accurate response out of the monitors. Ultimately, this will ensure that what you're listening to is a truthful representation of the audio you recorded and most importantly, it will ensure that your mixes translate well regardless of where you listen to them.
