Notes on Converting a Defender 110 or 130 to rear discs

Описание к видео Notes on Converting a Defender 110 or 130 to rear discs

Notes on converting the rear drum brakes to disc on a 110 or 130. Quite simple using new off the shelf parts, IF you cannot find good used items.

BUT beware of fitting Td5, 90 or Discovery 1 hubs, callipers and rotors/discs

You must work out that the disc has to be in the centre of the calliper - if not you will not be able to get your pads in correctly.

So if you are going to do this, then buy new parts for a 300 Tdi or use the used parts from a 300 Tdi or Td5 that has been removed from the rear flange.

Don’t mix any 300Tdi and Td5 parts together!

You have been warned and I hold no responsibility for mishaps!

As YouTube have moved the goals to become monetized, and I have a niche channel, funding is never going to happen, so I have set up a Patreon as I would like to get a higher speed upload, which means I get post more videos, AND in 1080
Takes me about 2.5 hours to upload a 15 minutes at the moment.
I will be giving credits to my supporters at the end of my videos from now on. I am very grateful to one and all!
