The Mercedes-Benz W126 was engineered from the ground up to be nothing short of the finest automobile in the world, with every aspect of the design carefully considered for efficiency, quality, and luxury. More than twenty years since production ended, the W126 remains a high watermark for production car engineering, and the handsome two-door SEC coupe stands as one of the most collectibles of the range. This 1991 example is from the final year of production, and features the mighty 5.6-liter V8 engine, along with optional bright finish alloy wheels, CD changer, and more. Finished in Smoke Silver metallic (DB702) over black leather trim (code 261), it is in superb condition throughout. Collector owned and maintained regardless of cost, it is the subject of a recent, high-quality respray and interior re-trim, and is superbly detailed inside and out. A fantastic example of the elegantly stylish 560 SEC, and an eminently usable ‘youngtimer’ classic.
