Intersteps Formula BMW (UK FBMW) from Donington park national circuit, Race 2, 22nd April 2012, Fortec motorsport Mygale FB02 with Cameron Twynham driving.
Not the best start for Cameron, getting jumped by a lot of the cars that he'd outqualified, definitely gave him some work to do during the race.
Damp at the start and drying throughout so tricky for all the young drivers on the grid as it was constantly evolving during the race.
Some good battling in this despite the low grid size.
This is the UK formula BMW championship, typically with between 10-15 cars on the grid for this junior series, as it was the last weekend quite a few had dropped out by now.
Seen as the first step out of karting for those that hadn't wanted to go down the formula ford route, these cars had slicks, wings, a sequential gearbox and a BMW 1171cc motorbike engine.
