Lanikai Pillbox I Last Weekend of Summer I Best Hike on Oahu I Family Friendly Hike Oahu

The kids each chose one thing to do to close out the summer before going back to school. The kids wanted chose hiking so here we are hiking the Lanikai Pillbox. Moderately challenging with maximum reward - breathtaking 360 degree views throughout the entire hike and if you pick the right day and the right time you can beat the heavy foot traffic like we did. Morning hikes are popular, but we did a sunset hike. No complaints from the kids whatsoever, they wanted to continue on, but we had to turn around before it got too dark to hike back. They gave it Infiniti thumbs up and so do we!
