Sindh’s rich spiritual heritage is deeply rooted in Sufism, which arrived between the 8th and 13th centuries through Arab mystics and traders. The famous song “Jhoolay Lal” honors both Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and Jhulelal, a river saint revered by Sindhi Hindus. This anthem symbolizes Sindh’s shared cultural and religious heritage, bringing people together through faith and music.
