This is a later version of the first generation Hoover Constellation model 822 and dates from 1957. It was almost identical to the first Constellation but added the air lift feature. A year later the 822a model was launched with a more powerful motor and a redesigned skirt.

The thumbnail picture shows what the cleaner looked like after a good clean and polish.
