In Canada, seafood business represents over $6 billion annually. No wonder we're the largest exporter of lobster in the world.

One small town on the Bay of Fundy plays a big part in this industry. Nautical Seafoods in Parker's Cove, N.S., buys and sells over three million pounds of lobster every year. Owner Shawn Everett comes from a long line of fisherman and says his grandfather and father wouldn't have believed the changes in fisheries today, not to mention the success of lobster.

Not too many years ago, the tasty crustacean was "a poor man's food." Now it's a pride of the country.

Join chef Ricardo Larrivée on the wharf in Parker's Cove, where lobster isn't just big business, it's also the heart of a community.
