Last qualifying session with Derek Warwick, Nelson Piquet, Carlos Reutemann, Jacques Laffite, Alan Jones, Jean-Pierre Jarier, Bruno Giacomelli (sliding), Rene Arnoux, Michele Alboreto, Gilles Villeneuve, Didier Pironi, Alain Prost, Brian Henton and Patrick Tambay by order of apperance.

The is followed by a discussion between Prost, looking a bit concerned despite being on pole that day [1:18:176] and winning the next day, and his Chief Engineer Michel Tetu.
Tetu: "Not that bad... you still managed to get on Pole !?"
Prost: "[inaudiblle]... and we need to pay attention to the possible detoriation of the ground-effect side-skirts as well as a bit of understeering"
Tetu: "For the latter, that is expected given the [qualifying] tyres you had on this last setup"
Prost: "yes, of course, the first two laps with them were OK and then..."

Next, Alan Jones, while cleaning his helmet visor, also complaininng about the tyres:
"What happened is they are very sticky to begin with...after that, they go down but then they stay there...[inaudible] 1:19:2 all the time..." "you think you can get any more out of that ?"
