Ugh… I visit a website and before I can even see a single thing
I have to prove I’m human by clicking a box.
Nope. Pass.
And funny enough… every time I have to prove I’m “not a robot,”
it’s a Cloudflare site.
Look, Cloudflare is great for security.
But for the love of all things digital…
understand the settings before implementing the technology.
If you’re putting a barrier between your website and your audience
— forcing people to jump through hoops just to peek behind the curtain
— that’s dumb logic.
Honestly, when you do that, you’re turning people away.
And here’s the kicker…
when there’s a problem with Cloudflare,
guess whose site is suddenly NOT accessible? Yours.
Security shouldn’t smack someone in the face at the front door.It should protect the vault — not the welcome mat.
Implement it after they’ve landed on your site…
after they’ve read all about you…
and only when they’re accessing the payment portal.
Anything else is just bad UX disguised as “security.”
