🎶 One of my students’ absolute favorite activities is back—and this year I’ve added a brand-new twist! Not only can this song be scaffolded beautifully across grade levels, but now we’re taking it further with a decoding activity that really makes rhythms come alive.

Once the students know the song inside and out, we dive into decoding the rhythm using tactile tools like note cards and popsicle sticks. Sometimes we’ll make it a full-class challenge, other times a small-group station activity.
