In this video I will show you and explain about Fuel oil bunkering Operation. Fuel oil Bunkering mean our ship receive fuel oil from a small fuel oil bunker barge(Kind of small fuel tanker ship carries Marine fuel( you can say portable Gasoline or fuel oil pump station?)

Chief Engineer is the overall operation in charge of bunkeing.He conducts bunker meeting to explain bunkering Operation to the crew before arrival and also explain about action that need to be take in case of emergency like oil spill.

This is very important operation onboard so need to be very proactive and aware about all the situations during the whole operation.These fuel are certified and tested for NOX and SOX emission as per Marpol standard.
