Ciri khas Soto Bandung yakni kuahnya yang bening, menggunakan lobak dan daging sapi. Namun soto yang aku buat ini menggunakan daging ayam dan tidak menambahkan taburan kacang kedelai goreng. Pastinya enak dan seger, cocok disajikan saat musim hujan seperti sekarang.

Resep Soto Ayam Iris

Bahan:
600 gr dada ayam fillet
1 buah lobak
1 batang daun bawang
8 siung bawang merah
8 siung bawang putih
4 lembar daun salam
10 lembar daun jeruk
1 batang serai
4 sdt garam
1-2 sdm gula
1 sdt merica
1-2 sdt penyedap
1,5 liter air
2 seledri
5 buah jeruk limau
50 gr bawang goreng
20 ml minyak goreng

Langkah:
1. Iris daging ayam
2. Kupas lobak, potong kotak-kotak kecil
3. Blender bawang merah, bawang putih dan minyak hingga halus
4. Tumis bumbu halus, masukan serai geprek, daun jeruk dan daun salam tumis hingga wangi
5. Rebus air, masukkan lobak
6. Masukan sedikit air ke tumisan bumbu halus, aduk kemudian masukkan ke dalam panci rebusan lobak
7. Bumbui dengan garam, gula, merica, penyedap kemudian masukkan daun bawang yang dipotong panjang, masak hingga mendidih
8. Masukkan ayam, masak hingga mendidih lagi
9. Iris seledri dan belah dua jeruk limau
10. Hidangkan soto dengan irisan seledri, perasan jeruk limau dan bawang goreng

Boils Chicken in Only 2 Minutes! Kids and Family's Favorite Soup Recipe

The characteristics of Soto Bandung (one of Indonesia's favorite soup) are its clear broth and the use of radish and beef. But the Soto I'm making uses chicken without any fried soy beans topping. It's definitely delicious and fresh, suitable for rainy seasons like it is now.

Sliced Chicken Soto Recipe

Ingredients:
600 g chicken breast fillet
1 radish
1 leeks
8 cloves shallots
8 cloves garlic
4 bay leaves
10 Kaffir lime leaves
1 lemongrass
4 tsp salt
1-2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp ground white pepper
1-2 tsp flavor enhancer
1.5L water
2 celery
5 Kaffir lime
50 g fried shallots
20 ml oil

Steps:
1. Slice the chicken breast
2. Peel and dice the radish
3. Blend shallots, garlic, and oil to a paste
4. Sauté the paste. Add pounded lemongrass, Kaffir lime leaves, and bay leaves. Sauté until fragrant.
5. Boil some water. Add radish.
6. Add a little bit of the boiled water to the sautéed spice paste, mix, and empty the pan into the radish pot.
7. Season with salt, sugar, pepper, and flavor enhancer. Add chopped leeks and bring to a boil.
8. Add chicken, bring to a boil once more.
9. Chop the celery and prepare the Kaffir lime.
10. Serve the Soto with celery and fried shallots garnish and Kaffir lime juice.
