Melipona Bee blob detector Using Opencv3, python2.7 and mser Features

Using Anaconda python 2.7 Virtual Env, with opencv3 install by conda install using pycham comunity edition IDE, This little code analyze every frame of the file stream looking for mser regions compatibles with bee.

Mser Regions are invariant to small camera movements, change in ilumination and gives in overall better performance in this application that the simpleblobdetector function on opencv

Next Steep is to track each blob movement using kalman filter and count if the bee enters or exit the beehive.


This bees are Melipona Paratrigona, a stinglees bee endemic of andeans mountains in RIonegro Antioquia.
