The Buffalo L715 is a 10 litre 400w soup kettle that's ideal for serving mulled wine, chilli, stew, curry and is also available in several different colours the one we're reviewing has a nice black finish the the body of the unit is all metal so you know it will last.

It came in a well packaged box, that included everything you need to get started and each item including the soup kettle has a great finish and is well made so should last many uses whether it's a domestic or commercial environment. Operation is easy, just full the aluminium chamber with water up to the max line as indicated at the bottom side and then insert the stainless steel jug with whatever you wanting to serve, and handy labels which snap into a magnetic backplate are also included in several languages which makes identifying the contents easier. Additionally the hinged lid makes access quick and also keeps the heat in.

It has a easy to use simmerstat which goes from 1 to 10, and 0 is off this keeps your food items at a constant temperature ready for serving. The electrical lead is around 4 foot, and the included plug is good quality. When the kettle is on, it displays a green light and once the desired temperature has been reached the built-in thermostat turns off and back on again to maintain the set temperature.
