As Vice President of Business Development and Emerging Markets at Covaris, Deb continues to work with notable protein analysis laboratories around the world developing and optimizing their analytical workflows.
Webinar: Increased protein coverage for high-quality peptides with a streamlined, scalable sample prep workflow
Webinar Abstract:
Proteomics is a unique source for a vast pool of information that is also very complex when it comes to analysis. In the last decade and a half, there have been significant advancements for detection, identification, and quantitation of proteins and peptides with technologies such as LC-MS, antibody capture, etc. However, to maximize the capabilities of the technologies and achieve confident data for every sample, it is imperative to have robust, reliable, and efficient extraction and processing workflows for proteins.
Covaris’ protein sample preparation solutions, powered by Adaptive Focused Acoustics® (AFA®) Technology, offer comprehensive workflows for – (i) Efficient extraction of proteins from many complex biological matrices (cells, fresh frozen tissues, FFPE, and more); (ii) Reliable purification of proteins using established processes, such as protein aggregation capture (PAC); and (iii) Expedited digestion of proteins without compromising the quality of peptides.
This webinar will share some exciting projects that range from analysis of total proteins obtained using AFA-based workflows for extraction and purification of proteins to accelerated digestion enabled by AFA. LC-MS technologies have made strides to impart both resolution and sensitivity to the world of proteomics, which can now benefit from high-quality data with a reliable AFA-assisted sample preparation workflow.
Learning Objectives:
Discover how a single, versatile platform enables robust sample preparation of high-quality proteins from complex, varied biological matrices.
Find out how to increase efficiency in sample prep of proteins for shorter time to results without compromising data quality.
Learn how to address varying throughput requirements and sample batch sizes (from 1 to 96 samples) with a scalable, flexible workflow.
