Former Marine and veteran, Michael Mitchell suffered an injury while on active duty. He could not get the treatment he needed and saw his quality of life deteriorate. Eventually, he found Azalea Orthopedics in Tyler, Texas. He originally had an appointment with Dr. Gary Goodfried for an ankle injury but eventually was referred to Dr. John Priddy. After repairing his ankle, Mike began to compete in Ironman competitions. He has regained his independence and the ability to live the life he wants to live. We are grateful to Mike and Veterans like Mike for protecting our freedoms and keeping us safe! We are thrilled to see Mike restore his life and shape his future on his terms.
