This is my take on “Eyes Without a Face” by Billy Idol — a song that’s always felt more felt than heard.

Instead of pushing it into something bigger or louder, I leaned into what was already there:
the restraint, the unease, the quiet pull underneath the melody. I slowed things down, softened the edges, and let the synths do most of the talking.

This version lives somewhere between late-night synthwave and hazy pop — warm, slightly detached, and emotionally suspended. It’s the kind of track that feels best when you’re driving alone, walking home too late, or sitting with the lights low and nowhere to be.

I wasn’t trying to reinvent the song — just to sit with it for a while and see what surfaced.
