Leaders from Northern California Grantmakers’ are scaling the Racial Equity Action Institute model – a regional, multi-sector cohort of racial equity leaders from the business, government, nonprofit, and philanthropy sectors, across California. Grantmakers for Effective Organizations has tested different approaches to co-creation between funders and communities nationally.

During the workshop, they share concrete examples that showcase creative ways to advance racial equity – using cross-sector collaborations and multi-sector cohort learning models. This session is for all changemakers looking to understand how they can develop effective strategies and avoid pitfalls in advancing racial equity and actualizing “thriving” for all through multi-sector work.
