Furlihong 680PBH Pickleball Machine Test

I recently purchased a FURLIHONG 680PBH PICKLEBALL MACHINE to help me transition from Tennis to Pickleball--after a 10-year hiatus from Tennis. This starter kit includes: (1) launch machine, (2) ball recycling net, (3) Pickleball paddle, (4) 3 Pickleballs and (5) carrying bag.

I needed to adjust to the much-shorter, no-string (less-spin) Pickleball paddle and the plastic Pickleball that weighs much lighter and bounces much lower. I also needed to get used to the different feel of hitting the harder Pickleball which doesn't compress upon impact.

Moreover, I needed a Pickleball machine that I can use privately at home and can also be used by any member of my family or house guest who might be interested in hitting Pickleball, currently the fastest-growing sport in the U.S.

I've researched several Pickleball machines online and, for my specific purpose, this Pickleball machine has a very smart and logical design. This is the only one that recycles Pickleballs back to the Pickleball machine (via the ball recycling net) so you don't have to retrieve them from all over the place.

I also like that it's reasonably-priced. At this point, I'm not willing to invest in a much-more expensive Pickleball machine that I have to take to the Pickleball courts with me to be used.

The supplied Pickleball paddle is mainly for beginners and the 3 supplied Pickleballs are not of very good quality. In this YouTube video, I'm using my own premium Pickleball paddle, the ENGAGE PURSUIT MX 6.0 (Graphite-face), and high-quality Franklin-brand Pickleballs.

Bottom line: I'm happy with my purchase and it meets my current specific purpose for Pickleball; i.e., accelerate my transition/adjustment (from Tennis) to Pickleball.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not an agent of Furlihong and don't get paid any commission by them. 😉 😃
