Concrete Clips is a series of informational videos developed by FHWA. Real-time Smoothness (RTS) system attaches to a slipform paver to provide information on smoothness of the just-placed, concrete pavement in real-time, which enable on-the-fly adjustments of the paving equipment, operations, and mixtures during the paving operation. This informational video presents an overview of RTS system.
