Thermal imaging or infrared is a camera that I use to help me spot anomalies of temperature changes. This can be hot or cold, indicating some type of defect. Moisture is a common problem with home owners. Having an infrared camera does not costs nearly what it used to cost, making it easier for homeowners to have this tool in their home. Knowing how to read the images is another can of worms, but can be learned.
