Описание к видео My Motherland and I - Flash Mob of the Chinese Consulate General in Belfast

This is a video we created for the Chinese Consulate General in Belfast who performed a flash mob in the grounds of City Hall on Friday 27th September. They performed a traditional Chinese song which translates as 'My Motherland and I'.

The event was recorded and used as part of the celebrations in China on 1st October to mark the 70th Anniversary of the formation of the People's Republic of China.

The flash mob was organised by the Chinese Consulate and featured a variety of Chinese musicians and performers including pop singer Li Yiwa and saxophonist Wu Jiaxu with music from The Plucked Strings Orchestra of the Central Conservatory of Music.
