Pioneer has packed the AVH-X3600BHS DVD receiver with all the features available for their DVD receiver lineup. Check it out:


• Built-in Bluetooth®: Enjoy hands-free calling with your compatible phone, plus the ability to wirelessly stream and control music from your phone or other Bluetooth devices.
• Built-in HD Radio™ tuner: You'll notice the impressive sonic advantages right away — FM broadcasts that are near-CD quality, with AM that's as good as what you're used to on FM. You can tune into multiple channels on the same frequency, for more entertainment choices. Plus, the iTunes® tagging feature lets you save song info, so you can purchase the tracks you like later.
• MirrorLink™ ready: MirrorLink system provides in-dash control over a growing number of Android™ smartphones. You'll enjoy touchscreen control from your Pioneer over music, phone contacts, and select apps — connect your compatible phone via USB and enjoy a seamless experience. Pioneer's CD-ML100 MirrorLink adapter is required (not included).
• Advanced App Mode: With Advanced App Mode you can launch and control compatible iPhone apps from the face of your receiver, putting a variety of music, navigation, social media, and other apps at your command. The AVH-X3600BHS features an HD Radio tuner and supports an optional satellite radio tuner.

The AVH-X3600BHS will play your music, no matter what medium you prefer. You can connect your iPod or iPhone to the rear USB input and use the receiver's controls to access your playlists, while tools like Alphabet Search and Link Search get you to the song you want quickly. Android users aren't left out in the cold. If your Android phone supports the media transfer protocol (MTP), you'll be able to browse and play back the music that's stored on your phone, no extra app required.

If you're a fan of streaming Internet radio, connect your iPhone to the receiver with an optional cable and take charge of your Pandora® account from the touchscreen, complete with thumbs-up and thumbs-down controls. And don't forget, you can also enjoy all your CDs, DVDs, discs full of MP3 or WMA music, or USB storage devices loaded with files.

Tune the sound

This Pioneer sports an 8-band equalizer for making your music sound perfect in your car, and you'll find an auto-equalization feature to tune your system (microphone required). Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever perks up the flat sound of compressed music by restoring high-frequency information. If you're looking to build a killer system, three pairs of preamp outputs make it easier to connect external amplifiers

Customizable display and excellent video performance


The 6.1" LCD screen on this Pioneer can be customized with variable color choices and backgrounds. You'll also find some cool touchscreen features — Pioneer's Touch Slide technology gives you real fingertip control over many functions. Want a new EQ curve? Just draw it on the screen with your finger and you've got it. And you can browse video files through thumbnail images — just touch them to check out a sneak preview.

The AVH-X3600BHS plays DVDs in bright, clear detail when you're parked, and when you're on the road, you can entertain your passengers by sending a movie from the receiver to a rear-seat screen — they'll thank you during those long trips (check the "Details" tab for full information on cables required for video playback from iPhones). And of course you can plug in a rear-view camera to play it safe in crowded parking lots.


Want to keep your car's steering wheel audio controls?

In most vehicles, you can use an adapter (not included) to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this Pioneer stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the Pioneer, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.
