4 tasty pickle appetizers you will want to try. Dill pickle dip recipe, stuffed dill pickles recipe, bacon cheeseburger pickle boat recipe and pulled pork pickle sliders recipe. If you like pickles then you’re going to love these pickle recipes.


Dill Pickle Dip
(SERVINGS 8)
This dip is so delicious and so easy to make. It's one of our favorites.
▪️Ingredients▪️
8oz cream cheese (softened)
3/4 cup of chopped pickles
2 tbs of chopped green onions
1 tbs of fresh chopped dill
2 tbs of pickle juice
1/4 tsp f garlic powder
chopped pickles and dill for garnish
▪️Directions▪️
Step 1) Grab a medium sized bowl and mix your softened cream cheese, chopped pickles, chopped green onions, fresh chopped dill, pickle juice and garlic powder together. (Mix well) If you prefer a thinner consistency add a little more pickle juice.
Step 2) Chop a little extra pickle and dill for your garnish
Step 3) Serve!
You can serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 8 hours
You can serve with chips or crackers. You could even make it a sandwich spread!


Stuffed Dill Pickles
(SERVINGS about 15)
Another delicious and easy pickle appetizer you’ll love
▪️Ingredients▪️
3 whole pickles
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 tsp of salt
2 tbs of Hidden Valley ranch dressing
2 tbs of fresh chopped dill
You will also need a pastry bag and a decorating tip.
▪️Directions▪️
Step 1) Slice your pickles into 1 inch thick slices (I used 3 pickles for this recipe)
Step 2) Cut around the edges of the 1 inch sliced pickles with a knife and then scoop out the center (make sure you don’t cut all the way down to the bottom.
Step 3) Grab a medium sized bowl and add the softened cream cheese, salt, Hidden Valley ranch and your fresh chopped dill. Mix well until smooth.
Step 3) Fill your pastry bag with the mixture and pipe it into the center of the cut pickles. Depending on how much you use on each pickle, you may have a little bit of extra filling. I probably could have squeezed enough out for one more pickle slice.
Step 4) Serve!
You can serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 8 hours.


Bacon Cheeseburger Pickle Boats
(SERVINGS 8)
The best part about this recipe is there’s no right or wrong way to make it. You can dress your boats however you’d like but I’m going to share what we used.
▪️Ingredients ▪️
-4 whole pickles cut in half (makes 8 boats)
-1/2 pound of hamburger
Sharp cheddar cheese
-Real bacon bits
-1/4 cup of diced onions
-1/2 tsp of garlic powder
-1/4 tsp of salt
-1/4 tsp of pepper
▪️Directions▪️
Step 1) Start by heating your oven to 325
Step 2) Slice your pickles in half long way and then scoop out the center. Place your pickle boats on the pan you’ll be using.
Step 3) on the stove top cook your 1/2 pound of hamburger. Towards the end add in your garlic powder, salt, pepper, and diced onions.
Step 4) Fill your boats will the hamburger, sharp cheddar cheese, real bacon bits, or however you desire to dress them.
Step 5) Place the boats in the oven on 325 for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Step 6) Serve!
You could also add mustard for a topping. I think the next time I make these I’ll add tomatoes and maybe try a different cheese. Yum!


Pulled Pork Pickle Sliders
▪️Ingredients ▪️
(For the coleslaw)
8 ounces of slaw
1/2 tbs of lemon juice
1/2 tbs white vinegar
1 tbs of sugar
4 tbs of mayonnaise
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
Mix all these ingredients together in a medium bowl. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. (note if you only make 8 sliders like we did you will have more than half of the coleslaw left. However, it is really delicious to eat by itself! Or you can just make more sliders!
(You will also need)
BBQ pulled pork (we used Lloyd’s seasoned shredded pork in original BBQ sauce) about half the container (8 oz)
You could also make your own pulled pork, I’m just sharing what we used.
2 tbs of chopped green onion
1/4 tsp of pepper
2 whole pickles (sliced)
-Toothpicks
▪️Directions▪️
Step 1) First, as noted above, start by making your coleslaw.
Step 2) Cut your pickles to where you get 16 slices (2 pickles should make 8 sliders)
Step 3) In a medium sized bowl mix together your BBQ pulled pork, chopped green onions, and pepper.
Step 4) Start putting your sliders together. Start by placing a slice of pickle on your plate/tray, then get a small spoonful of the BBQ pulled pork and place it on your pickle slice. Next, top the pulled pork with a bit of coleslaw and then top that off with a pickle slice. Lastly, stick a toothpick through the center of your slider.
Step 5) Serve!
If you’d like to make more than 8 sliders, you could just double the amount of pickles used (4 whole pickles) and double the BBQ pulled pork (16 oz) you’ll already have plenty of coleslaw.
