In this video I compare the clean tones of a Vox and Marshall Amp. I'm playing both amps though the same Marshall 4x12 Speaker cabinet and both amps are tweaked to sound as similar as possible.

1971 Marshall 1960A 4x12 with stock G12M25 75Hz Pulsonic Greenbacks
1960s Beyerdynamic M160 Ribbon Mic
API 512C Mic Preamp
Weber Mass 100 Attenuator with very slight attenuation.
