As your Pentair Letro Legend starts to get old the parts will wear out and you may find it sitting at the bottom not moving. You might get it moving by spinning the wheels but it will invariably stop again. There are three main things to check and the first thing to look at are the plastic teeth on the two front wheels.

It is propelled by a metal drive shaft which will eventually strip down the plastic teeth on the wheel. When that happens the cleaner can no longer move as the drive shaft has nothing to grip. It is actually a great design but will lead to wear on the plastic parts.

At the end of the video I mention simply rotating the wheels to save some money, which I recommend since the wheels come with teeth as a standard part and the back wheels don't need them as they are propelled by the front wheel movement.

As you can see from the video this is a very easy fix and should take you no more that a few minutes to change out one or both of the front wheels.
