Mojito's birthplace is Havana, Cuba and is said to be invented in 1500s by Sir Francis Drake to cure his crew members from scurvy and dysentery. There are more stories related to it's invention.

Recipe
Ingredients :
50 ml white rum
10-12 fresh mint leaves
2 tsp powdered suger/1 tsp sugar
1/2 Lemon
Soda
Crushed Ice

Equipments/Utensils :
Highball glass
Muddler
Cocktail shaker/jar
Spoon/Bar spoon

Steps
Step 1 : Cut half lemon into wedges
Step 2 : Add wedges into the glass
Step 3 : Add 10-12 fresh mint leaves
Step 4 : Add 2 tsp powdered sugar
Step 5 : Muddle all the ingredients
Step 6 : Add crushed ice
Step 7 : Add 50 ml of white rum
Step 8 : Stir gently with the spoon
Step 9 : Top with soda
Step 10 : Garnish and enjoy your drink
