Jaya & Nancy, co-founders of DesignChicks (designchicks.com) completely transformed this outdated, compartmentalized home. This home has been renovated to create a modern kitchen with layered wood tones and an open-concept, beautifully designed living space with kid-friendly, pet-friendly furniture without compromising aesthetics. This renovation was completed in only 11 weeks.

The client wanted a functional main floor that was kid-friendly, suited for entertaining, and beautiful. With the addition of curved cabinets, an arched entryway, a secret hidden pantry, a giant kitchen island and thin-frame black windows with drywall returns, this home perfectly blends modern elements with character-filled charm.
