Bangladesh, education is free, and it is mandatory for children between 6 and 10 to attend school. However, child labourers, handicapped children, native children, etc. only rarely have access to education. Their right to education is not respected.

This is also true for children from poor communities (especially boys) who must often abandon their education to be able to help their family financially.

At hope and prosperity we have an in house primary school. An official school curriculum was introduced for the children complete with extracurricular activities.

Our school is recognised for its efforts by the local community and it is opened up to other children in the village to enroll. A religious scholar has also been employed to teach the children their religious obligations along with the secular education system. With an increased number of girl orphans arriving, trustees decide to expand further into a new building to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
