A suspect was arrested after a woman’s body was discovered in the backyard of a Costa Mesa home Thursday. Police responded to a home on the 1900 block of Maple Avenue at around 2:27 p.m. where a 38-year-old woman was found dead at the scene.

Neighbors said the woman’s body was discovered inside a trash bin in the backyard.
