What Was The Eraserhead Baby Made Of?

Eraserhead is an "experimental body horror" film released in 1977 which was written, directed, produced and edited David Lynch and it is highly regarded by many. The film follows the story of a man named Henry who due to unexpected circumstances was pulled into fatherhood as he was left to care for his baby that was deformed. The baby had triggered many reactions from the viewers, and some wondered what this scarily disfigured baby was actually made of. However, even after more than 40 years of the movie being out, the answer to this question has not been revealed.
