In partnership with Aboriginal Pavilion, presented by the Aboriginal Leadership Partners, Turtle Island Rising: Past and Futures are two short film programmes that span the histories and envision new horizons of the First Peoples of Turtle Island. Screening at Fort York, the programmes present origin, myth, fable and allegorical themes of history using the canons of traditional and contemporary Indigenous filmmaking. Both programmes will be followed by Q&A sessions with participating artists.
