SHOW JUMPING INTERVIEW WITH DAVID BROOME - SOUND

Описание к видео SHOW JUMPING INTERVIEW WITH DAVID BROOME - SOUND

(25 Jul 1961)

Liz Edgar David Broome's sister may be seen in back of shot. David Broome is interviewed about his show jumping. He is asked about preparations for important events. He recommends a good meal. He is asked how long it takes to train a horse and whether he has a favourite horse. He is asked why show jumping appeals and he says it is the thrill and the outdoor life - when it isn't raining. Questions are repeated. He is asked about his chances for the current event. He doesn't have very good interview technique but then neither does the interviewer. Voice only of a woman speaking about show ponies. Could be Mrs Dillon ? A rather glamorous female show jumper is interviewed while she tries to hold a horse's head steady. Miss Camel? She speaks about the enjoyment she gets from show jumping.
