Mahadev App Owner Arrested; Ex-CM Bhupesh Baghel's Role Under Scrutiny

Indian authorities were processing the extradition of Sourabh Chandrakar, one of the promoters of the Mahadev Online Book App. Chandrakar was the main accused in the alleged ₹6,000 crore betting scam. He was arrested last week in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based on an Interpol red notice.

The people in the knowledge of the matter added federal agencies Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and Chhattisgarh Police probing the alleged scam were processing extradition documents through the external affairs ministry, so that Chandrakar could be brought back to India as soon as possible.
