The topic that I decided to choose for my speech is regarding the impact of social media on communication. Living in the digital era, social media has become a huge influence on our lives as well as today’s communication. I chose this specific topic because I found interest in it and it elicits curiosity within me, wanting to explore more on the topic as an avid social media user myself. Besides that, I believe that this is an important topic that needs to be shared with other people, as it will open their minds on how much impact social media has on our daily lives, especially in this context, on how it impacts and effects the way we communicate with others. From this speech that I will deliver, hopefully the audience will be more aware and gain new insight on how communication has evolved overtime due to social media.
