Several influential IPS officers who previously held key positions in the police department have been reassigned. Sanjib Panda has been transferred to serve as the director of the Biju Patnaik Police Training Academy (BPSPA), while Suresh Devdutt Singh, formerly the ADG of Operations, has been appointed as the new police commissioner. Arun Bothra, the ADG of the Crime Branch, has been removed from the CID CB and assigned as the ADG for Railway and Maritime Coast Security. Vinaytosh Mishra will take over as the new CID CB in place of Bothra. Additionally, Arun Kumar Rai has been appointed as the director of prisons, and IPS officer SM Narvane has been transferred from the OSD Home Department to serve as the Director of Printing.
