The Burren Discovery Trail is a new looped touring route along the Wild Atlantic Way, guiding visitors through 150km of charming towns, unique experiences, ancient historical sites and cultural destinations encouraging them to engage with the stories of each local area.

Developed with an investment of €340,000 from Fáilte Ireland, the trail is particularly focused on promoting slow tourism, inviting visitors to stay longer and uncover more of the Burren.  If you are a tourism business in the Burren region you can get involved by contacting your local representative.
