The latest office space on The Digital Hub campus is almost ready for companies to move into. These offices are in the most recently renovated building on our campus - The Gatelodge.

Work commenced on this building in late 2013 and over the last few months the 2284 sq ft building has been carefully renovated into additional office space for The Digital Hub. The building comprises of one larger office that occupies the entire ground floor and separate to that three offices on the first floor, which share tea station and restroom facilities.

The Gatelodge brings to eight the number of buildings on The Digital Hub Campus which are home to 70 technology companies. The building is close to being fully occupied - by some existing Digital Hub members, who are expanding, and possibly some enterprises new to our cluster.

The Gatelodge is situated on the Digital Depot site, facing the entrance.

We are still investigating the history of this building and interestingly - amongst all the buildings and protected structures on our 9 acre campus - little fact is known about this particular building. Some features that have been restored in the building include a previously hidden tiled cast iron fireplace and also terrazzo flooring in stairwell.

This video shows you the condition of the building before renovation work commenced. We will be posting another video over the next week or so to show you the refurbished building.
