মার্কিন নির্বাচনের আর মাত্র ৪ দিন বাকী। ময় যত ঘনিয়ে আসছে সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে টান টান উত্তেজনা। সর্বশেষ জরিপেও এগিয়ে রয়েছে জো বাইডেন। এদিকে ৮ কোটির বেশি মার্কিনী আগাম ভোট দিয়ে দিয়েছে। এর মাঝেই ৫৮ শতাংশ ভোট গণণা হয়ে গেছে বলে জানিয়েছে দেশটির নির্বাচন কমিশন।
যা নির্বাচনে মার্কিন জনগণের অংশগ্রহণের মাত্রা ২০১৬ সালের চেয়ে কয়েকগুণ বেশি। এদিকে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সবচেয়ে বড় সুইং স্টেট বা দোদুল্যমান অঙ্গরাজ্য ফ্লোরিডায় রিপাবলিকান প্রার্থী প্রেসিডেন্ট ট্রাম্প এবং ডেমোক্রেট নেতা জো বাইডেন উভয়ই একইদিন প্রচারণা চালাতে ব্যস্ত রয়েছেন। বৃহস্পতিবার দুই প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বীই করোনাভাইরাস মোকাবেলায় নিজেদের কর্মপন্থা তুলে ধরেন, একইসঙ্গে পরস্পরের সমালোচনাও অব্যাহত রাখেন।
