To fill a series in Excel, you can follow these steps:

Select the cell(s) where you want to create the series.
Type the first value in the series.
Type the second value in the series, immediately to the right or below the first value.
Select both cells.
Hover your cursor over the bottom right corner of the selected cells. Your cursor should turn into a plus sign (+).
Click and drag the cursor down or across to fill the series as far as you need.
Alternatively, you can use the Fill command to create a series in Excel:

Select the cell(s) where you want to create the series.
Type the first value in the series.
Click on the cell to the right or below the first value.
From the Home tab, go to the Editing group and click on the Fill button.
Select either Series or Fill Series from the dropdown menu.
Choose the appropriate options in the dialog box that appears, such as the direction of the series and the type of series (linear or growth).
Click OK to create the series.
