The ALT Extractor is designed to remove the first bearing in a BSB configuration (bearing/spacer/bearing) otherwise known as a blind bearing. This tool replaces a bearing puller but uses leverage, like a bearing puller, to controllably remove the bearing.
The design of the ALT/ALT bearing extractor has three main goals:
1. firm hook of the back side of the bearing
2. Designed NOT to damage the bearing spacer
3. stable hold on the bearing during extraction
